About Hester Gallery
Since 1997 we have exhibited and dealt in work by emerging and established contemporary artists as well as collectible original prints by 20th Century Modern Masters such as David Hockney, Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall.
Originally we were launched as ArtCo and over the years we held numerous exhibitions at our large gallery in Meanwood, Leeds. Our vision was always to have a space where everyone felt welcome and relaxed and the preview nights were always very popular with customers and artists.
We gained much press coverage, both local and national, and in 2007 the gallery was featured in the ITV programme ‘My Yorkshire’. This coincided with the 10th anniversary of the business and our exhibition of works by the British artist Henry Moore, who along with our gallery was the main focus of the programme.

In 2010, after being badly damaged by a flood, the gallery was reopened and renamed as ‘Hester Gallery’.
Many of our customers became friends and would regularly pop in to the gallery for a fresh coffee and a croissant, some good vibes, surrounded by amazing art. We have always enjoyed helping clients discover a special piece of work, that they love, to add to their collection.
In 2015 we decided to go solely online and focus on our website. We continue to provide an excellent, friendly customer service and to deliver great art to happy customers and collectors throughout the UK.
