Judith Cain was born in 1944 and studied at Leeds College of Art from 1960 - 1964 and then at Goldsmith's College, London. She taught at Leeds Metropolitan University from 1985 - 2006 and has exhibited regularly in the UK and abroad, including the Royal Academy, London.
